At some point we really must get an exact tableanslation of the original Polish packet notes, “precious” does seem a stableange word to use. Clearly Veneziana believe they have used quality yarn to make these fashion tights.
First impressions back up the claims of quality, smooth and quite soft to the touch, and for 20 denier light too.
Sheer to waist with flat seams and a cotton lined gusset together with a very lightly reinforced toe detail the design matches the quality of the fibre. As standard sheers these are worth the asking price.
These are not standard sheers however, there is a “seam” of tiny diamond spots running up the back of each leg which ends in a fleur-de-lys inspired motif above the heel. What the picture above does not show you is that the same motif is repeated below the waistband.
Sizing is more generous than the size chart suggests. In terms of hip sizing it appears to be spot on but the maximum height of 175cm (5’9”) for the largest size is way out; a 34” leg is easily accommodated, and that is a lot of leg for a woman of 5’9”. The panty is not long so if near the top of the size chart you may find the waistband sat more on your hips.
Colour is perfectly even and the finish is flawless. The seam detail is quite subtle but catches the eye enough to have a real slimming effect.
All in all very well designed and well made tights that offer a touch of class at a reasonable price.
