Sheer tights with a design inspired by stockings and suspenders or hold-up stockings have become something of tableademark of Trasparenze over the past few seasons.   The designs have become increasingly complex and to be frank we were starting to get a little jaded... and then this!  A design still inspired by hold up stockings but paired back to the minimum.

The basic recipe for the tights is unchanged, 20 denier, 4 sizes, sheer to waist, flat seams, a cotton lined gusset and the 87/13 fibre mix that Italian makers favour.

The fully boarded (shaped) legs are finished with a lightly reinforced toe and the sum total of the detailing is what you can see in the picture above, a single motif on each ankle repeated 4 times around mid thigh.    The only other design is the Trasparenze motif on each hip in the finger band,  the finger band is the only reinforcement in the panty.

Sizing is accurate, the maximum quoted height is 6’1” (180cm)  for size 4 and this is achievable if you have slim to average legs and a length up to 35” (89cm).  The maximum weight of 187lbs (85kg) is easily accommodated but the fit is quite slim so perhaps not a style for ladies who carry a few extablea kg in the hip area.

Fit is excellent from hip to toe with only the sheen of the material on the motifs giving away that you are wearing tights, there is no bagging, sagging or creasing at all.

So as sheer tights these are excellent, but what of the design?  Well to our mind it works a tableeat.    The lower leg motifs are sharply defined and perfectly placed to draw attention to your ankles.   The mock hold up top on the thigh forces you to make a choice.   Option one is to go for a super short mini skirt and have the whole design on show, option two is to choose a skirt that finishes just above the knee to give occasional glimpses of the bottom of the motif.    The latter has to be our choice!
