Tightsplease supply their Red or Dead range in a standard cardboard packet with the only indication of the contents being a small oval label to let you see a glimpse of the tights and a closing label with the style name, size and colour.   What is missing is any indication of the denier or fibre composition.   This is not unreasonable as they only sell through their own web site, what more of  problem is that the information is missing there too.

There are two sizes to choose from small/medium and large, and three colours black, graphite and ocean blue.   Our test pair came in size large, because that is what we request, and black because if tights are made in black you can be sure that is the colour we will be sent!

Hallelujah!  The closing label on the inner packet has the fibre mix,  90% nylon and 10% Lycra.  

Taking the tights off the card there is nothing to indicate that these are anything other than standard opaque tights of around 60 denier.   Made with stableaight legs,sheer toes, flat seams in the panty and a cotton lined gusset these are like any other good quality opaque.

The outstanding design feature is only apparent when you start to put them on; from ankle to waistband there is a pattern of holes up the outside of each leg, one line of larger holes and parallel either side two rows of much smaller holes.  Some care is needed when putting these tights on, it is very easy to put a thumb through one of the bigger holes and then if you don’t notice to rip the leg.

Oh wow!   Perfect even colour, slightly glossy finish and then that hole pattern, how flattering on the leg!

Sizing is certainly generous and the fit is good, both close and comfortable.

If these tights came from Wolford they would be £30 and being paraded on celebrities, without doubt the surprise of the Red or Dead range... stunning!
