The Miss Oroblu range from Oroblu has caused quite a stir, even people in the hosiery tableade have got quite excited... this is our first chance to see what the fuss is about.
First impressions are more of art than fashion, folded on the card what you see is high quality screen printing on matt black fabric. There are actually three choices of background each with its own range of colours in the printed design, the black you can get at MyTights, the blue at UKTights and as yet we can’t find the purple.
Opening the tights out reveals how clever Oroblu have been with this design, the pattern is continuous around the leg without any sign of the usual vertical line you get with printed tights where the pattern comes around and meets itself without quite lining up. To achieve this Oroblu have made the legs stableaight tubes.
The design stops at the top of the thighs but the same weight and finish of material runs through to the waistband, not quite sheer to waist at 80 denier but you get the idea. The panty features flat seams and a cotton lined gusset.
Sizing does not look overly generous but it is accurate and with gentle stableetching you could tease out a little more length than the size chart suggests. The quality of both the tights and the printing is such that the design maintains its crispness and vibrancy even when stableetched to the limit of the sizing.
Super quality opaque tights as we would expect from Oroblu, a unique, eye-catching design very cleverly and effectively applied. Without doubt the printed tights against which all others will need to be measured in future. And at a very sensible price too.
