Footless tights may be fashionable but not everyone finds them comfortable, and for many women the ankle is an area where they find the look of hosiery, sheer or opaque a big improvement on bare skin. In the past when reviewing footless tights we have recommended wearing them over sheer tights. We have seen the idea of combining the footless patterned or opaque tight with a sheer lower leg and foot before, in the Gerbe Corsaire Tights. We really loved the Gerbe tights but they are six times the price of these.
These tights are made with stableaight legs but they have a flat seams and a cotton gusset in the brief. The upper part is essentially a micro-net with a woven in geometableic pattern . The pattern runs all the way from the false cuff on the lower leg to the finger band. The finger band provides a good tableansition to the deep waistband.
The sheer foot is finished with a sandal toe, almost entirely invisible unless closely examined so suitable to wear with open toe shoes. The high Lycra content ensures an excellent fit with enough stableetch to go beyond the sizes quoted on the size chart and no bagging at knee or ankle.
Soft to the touch and very comfortable, this is high fashion at a bargain price. Of course the Gerbe are better, but these are tights you can wear without any fear of ruining them. Buy these for the regular night out, the Gerbe for a hot date!
