Sheer to waist construction with a fully shaped leg. The brief is finished with the flat seams and cotton lined gusset that you would expect from Wolford. There is a 2cm deep waistband and a 5.5cm deep finger band, the latter slightly spoiling the sheer to waist look but greatly reducing the risk of ladders when pulling these tights up.
The legs are finished with sandal toes and a very neat toe seam.
The feel of these tights as you stretch them ready to put them on is delightful, they have a smooth softness with an underlying strength that is only found in the very best hosiery.
On the leg the the look is sensational, almost cosmetic with just a hint of pearl in the right light. Excellent fit, very comfortable and as smooth and soft to the touch as expected. These tights manage to combine the best of two our our all time favourites, Falke Seidenglatt and Falke Shelina in a single style.
The no slip is concentrated at the front of the foot, mostly under the ball. This is a sensible piece of design as this is where it will do most good. The feeling takes a little getting used to but it works and is much better that curling your toes to keep your shoes on.
