First impressions are of a velvet softness. What the eye suggests touch confirms.
The legs are straight rather than shaped, unusual on Wolford hosiery of this price. They also look quite short, but with 19% they should stretch

Waistband in indeed very soft, and has a Wolford motif each side in white.
Putting these tights on is a delight, they simply flow over your legs. The fit is excellent and the finish is matt and soft to the touch.
Length is more than adequate. Size tested is XL which the packet says does for 5'6"-5'10" and hips 45"-54". I suggest that if yours hips are smaller than this the Large size would do, even if you are well over 6' tall.
£15.00 is a lot of money but Wolford usually last many cycles of wearing and washing.
