The feel in the hand is smooth and quite soft, there is a definite sense of strength too.
Sheer to waist construction with flat body seams and a reinforced gusset. The waistband is quite deep at around 2.5 cm, and the finger band below is almost 5 cm deep. There is no shaping in the legs but the heel is fully shaped and reinforced. The heel is of the classic fully knitted type found on the finest silk stockings. Only Cervin regularly use this construction on tights. The toes are reinforced with a well finished smooth seam.
The seams run from the heel to the fingerband.
Size and fit is never a problem with Wolford and these tights are as good as any that they make. The size chart is accurate apart from there being more length in the leg than they suggest. The seams are easy to get straight thanks to the positioning effect of the heel and the fact that the seams run to the waist. The heel is positioned such that you get the full effect even if you have large feet.
These tights look and feel great. They would look their best with high heels and a little black dress but it would be a shame not to show them off more often.
