As soon as you open the packet you can tell that these are quite special tights, they are incredibly fine and light.

The construction is sheer to waist with flat seams in the brief and a cotton gusset. There is a very narrow reinforced strip either side of the body seam to give strength. The 2.5cm waistband is attached to the main body by a 4.5 cm deep finger band, this detailing should minimise the risk of tears pulling them up over your hips.

The sheer legs are shaped at the heel and finished with a reinforced toe. The toe seam is of high quality and made in a way common to high end manufacturers now, but almost unique to Wolford when we first looked at this style.

Both the legs and body in the large size look very long, but this is quite deceptive, despite the 8% Lycra in the yarn there is very little stretch and you need to smooth these tights on carefully.  But seeing as how putting these tights on feels like being stroked with silk that is hardly a problem.

The Lycra may not give a lot of stretch but it does ensure a perfect “second skin” fit.  The colour is perfectly even too, neither matt nor glossy, just sheer. Beautifully smooth to the touch these are very sexy tights.

The ultimate ultra sheers. It is a pity they are not more widely available.
