We see so much high fashion hosiery from Trasparenze that it is easy to forget that they make sheer hosiery too, this is their 20 denier offering.

Other than the sizing, 4 sizes covering up to 6’1” and 187lbs (180cm & 85kg), and the fibre composition there is no information on the packet.  

So just what do you get for your £8? Well first off you get a whiff of perfume!  Levante are well known for scenting their hosiery and Trasparenze have borrowed both the idea and the scent. 

The feel in the hand is very light for 20 denier and soft too.  The construction is sheer to waist with flat seams in the body, a cotton lined gusset and legs shaped at the heel and finished with a sandal toe detail.  The soft waistband is about 2.5 cm deep and connected to the sheer body with a very narrow finger band, so narrow that you can’t really get your fingers on to it.  There is a narrow reinforced strip either side of the body seams and around the gusset.

Sizing is accurate but as we have come to expect from Trasparenze quite slim of fit in the panty, stay within the size chart guidelines and you will be rewarded with an excellent and comfortable fit. Colour is perfectly even with a neutral finish, matt in most lights but a hint of sheen in some.

At £7.95 these tights are direct competition with Helen’s favourite Falke Pure Matt 20 Tights and it has to be said that they are a worthy competitor that we have no hesitation in recommending if you can find them.... If you can’t find them then buy the Falke.
