Trasparenze Kandinsky Tights
Our Review
On the packet card these tights ooze fashion, with a clearly defined floral motif on a black background.
The foot area is plain black and about 40 denier. From the shaped heel, up over the shaped calf the front of the leg is plain black and of the same weigh as the foot, while the back is sheer, about 20 denier with floral patterning. From mid thigh upwards they are plain black sheer.
The waistband has a small floral border and the "Transparenze" name printed on it.
Feel in the hand is soft. Length looks good.
Once on the fit is very good. The toe is of the sandal type, although slightly pointless at 40 denier, the seams are flat and the gusset is the sheer type.
The design is very flattering from behind with any length of skirt.
With short or "slit" skirts the effect is that of over knee hold-ups over sheer tights.
High fashion tights for a special occasion, not for everyday wear.
These tights are part of a range named after artists. It is a pity they did not match the designs to the painting styles of the artists.
