As you stretch these tights over your hands to put them on you can really see the shine and lustre. Sizing is not generous, particularly in the short and narrow panty area, which incidentally is matt finish rather than the pearl finish on the legs. Leg length is good, certainly up to 34” you should have no trouble.. Just be careful! These tights look and feel divine but they will not take rough handling.(see update below)
Whether you buy these or the matt version will be just a matter of taste.. but you must try one or the other.
Since we first looked at these tights in 2006 it Pierre Mantoux appear to have overcome the strength issues that we identified in our original review. The design is essentially the same with gloss/pearl finish on the legs and a more sheer panty which is pretty much identical to the panty of the matt version. Sizing is accurate with strength and stretch go slightly above the suggested limits if you are very careful. The waistband will be the limiting factor, particularly as these are hipster styled so it will most likely sit on your hips unless you have a very slim bottom.
