In common with other summer tights, and other tights from Pierre Mantoux these tights look very ordinary on the card, touch them though and they are a delight, light, smooth and soft.
They almost flow off the card into your hands. Immediately you are struck by how fine they look, almost transparent. The legs are shaped and finished with a sandal toe. The panty has flat seams, and in the case of our XL pair a reinforced rear panel (Smaller sizes have a cotton gusset). The waistband is about 3cm deep and below it there is a reinforced band about 1.5cm deep, the same weight as the back panel. There looks to be plenty of length in the leg, important as without Lycra there will be less stretch.
On the legs the fit is very good, and the feel is smooth and sensual. These are tights to flatter the legs in any season. The back panel design makes the comfort in the panty area less than perfect. The fit is somewhat loose in the seat. If you can get away with a size III or smaller there is a conventional cotton gusset so you will not have this problem.
Gorgeous tights at a completive price, but we would still prefer the Christian Dior Bronze.
