Our Review
Oroblu have produced some great fashion hosiery over the past few seasons and judging from the photographs and description it looks like this is going to be another great collection. But of course we don’t rely on the manufacturer’s pictures we inspect, test and torture the tights.
Our test pair came in black, as is so often the case, but UKTights also stock this stye in violet and a soft shade of blue. You also get the choice of three sizes : S, M & L/XL which Oroblu claim will fit up to a height of 5’11” (180cm) and a weight of 187lb (85 kg)
What Oroblu do not tell you, but UKTights do, is that the 20 denier yarn is knitted into a fine soft tulle, this provides a look on the leg that is darker than a 20 denier sheer. The polyester is in the floral lace designs that cover the whole garment from hip to toe, only the waistband is plain.
Construction is sheer to waist with flat seams and a lined gusset. The legs are unshaped and the toes are not reinforced.
As ever Oroblu sizing is accurate, quite generous for length but not so much for hip sizing. A slim to athletic 35” leg and 43” hips are easily accommodated by the largest size.
Great looking and comfortable tights, made to a high standard. Well worth the price.
Just one tip for when you have bought these tights... and you should. Remember that for all their apparent thickness they are made out of 20 denier yarn and should be handled like sheers.
