Mondor position this style as part of their “Indispensables” range and however you translate the French to English the meaning is pretty clear... 40 denier tights are an indispensable part of most women’s wardrobes.
Microfibre makes for very soft and warm tights with the added benefit of excellent even colour density. The construction of these tights is quite simple but they are genuinely sheer to waist and there is both a reinforced toe detail with a run stop and a gusset to aid fit. The high Lycra content ensures that the fit is not compromised by the lack of shaping in the legs. The seams in the panty are well made but not flat.
The gusset is interesting. Rather than lining with cotton Mondor have used Coolmax which is a patent material we are more used to seeing in sportswear. The Coolmax should ensure optimal ventilation and freshness.
Sizing is slightly on the generous side of accurate and the stretch in the material allows for a good fit even if you are trying tights several sizes too small.
There is a great range of colours to choose from but our recommendation would be to stock up with a range of shades rather than trying to decide.
