When these tights arrived at TightsFashion we very nearly passed them over to StockingsFashion as the picture gave such a strong impression of hold ups... frankly with the very cold and windy weather we are having at present no matter how good hold ups look we will be sticking to tights! Fortunately we spotted our mistake in time.
Although billed a 60 denier tights they are a million miles away from typical 60 denier opaque tights, they are sophisticated high fashion. The lower legged are striped as you can see from the picture but they are also ribbed and textured. Above the mock hold up you have what is in effect 15-20 denier sheer to waist tights complete with flat seams and a cotton lined gusset. What Zazu promises is the warmth, comfort and convenience of tights with the style of a patterned hold up.
The promise is delivered! Take care to get your stripes straight and vertical and the effect is not only incredibly smart it is also very slimming. The fit is excellent too and the sizing far more generous that the chart suggests thanks to huge reserves of stretch, particularly in length. You can use the stretch to position the top of the “stocking” to suit the rest of your outfit.
We have never seen pure sheers from Marylin but the upper part of these tights suggests that they would make top quality sheer tight as well as gorgeous fashion.
If you have any money left after Christmas you simply have to spend it on these tights!
