Our Review
Vita Bassa is an Italian expression meaning low-rise, so when you see this term you are looking at hipster styled tights.
Before starting this review we had to do a bit of checking. Surely £2.99 could not be the right price for sheer to waist tights with flat seams and a gusset made in a full range of sizes, we must have missed a digit... but no that price is correct. So where are the corners cut?
Straight legs legs finished with a sandal toe detail sheer, fine and soft.. no signs of corner cutting there. Panty with flat seams and T-band reinforcement and a cotton gusset, hipster cut with a deep waistband/hip band to keep the tights up; exactly as advertised.
Plenty of stretch to give a good fit on the leg and a generous fit too. The hipster top is comfortable and effective and for once with a hipster design did not leave our tester with a constant urge to be pulling up their tights.
The very slight sheen on the otherwise matt finish is flattering and works exceptionally well on a pair of tights that looks and feels finer than the 20 denier weight suggests.
These are stunningly good tights and we would be saying that if they were £12.99 rather than £2.99. If you need/want hipster cut tights then look no further.
Hipster tights can cause a conflict with other underwear, our tip is to wear your panties outside of these tights to allow that hip band to do its work.
Without doubt the best value we have seen this year.
