Marks and Spencer Autograph 10 Denier Seamless Tights

Our Review

These tights feel incredibly light, and unwrapping them from the card they look very small too... the typical seamless tights look that makes you think you have just a single stocking until you open them up and see two legs.  What is not so typical is the 6cm deep satin waistband.

To the touch these are very much like Wolford fatal, that is to say quite soft with a texture just a little harder than velvet.  What is surprising is that despite being 10 denier they feel incredibly strong.

Detailing is to good standard with well finished toe seam and invisibly reinforced toes. Completely sheer to waist of course with just a few fine lines between the legs where the knitting of the two legs comes together... a feature that until now was indicative of Wolford fatal.

Stretching them ready to put them on you can feel the Lycra, it provides lots of stretch and a perfect fit.  Sizing is accurate but not generous, the waistband in particular would preclude going beyond the suggested sizing, we would recommend going up a size, and if you are marginal at the top of large look at another brand.  Styling is such that the waist sits quite low, so low that you would have to wear them as hipsters unless you are very small in the bottom area.

Colour is perfectly even with a soft matt finish.

So how do they stack up against other seamless tights? Well at £12 they blow most of them away for value, they are so close for quality that we would certainly buy them. But if you can afford Wolford Fatal then buy them.

M&S are on a winner here, if you never tried seamless tights now is the time to do it.  If they will fit you then buy in bulk so they don’t stop selling them!

Few M&S stores seem to stock these tights but you can get them via our shop.
