Another style where the maker has opted to tell us nothing about the tights on the packet.
Taking them out of the packet they feel smooth, soft and quite light for 50 denier tights... you could feel them yourself in a shop as they are in an open packet.
Unfolding them reveals long looking tights that appear of uniform weight and finish from hip to toe. The legs are unshaped and finished with a reinforced toe of different finish but similar weight.
The body, which on close inspection is of slightly different knit to the legs, is finished with flat seams and a cotton lined gusset and is topped off with a 3 cm deep waistband.
The 11% Lycra in the fibre mix ensures plenty of stretch and a good fit. We noticed some very slight banding in the colour at the tops of the thighs where the transition from the legs to the brief occurs, but otherwise the colour was very even. The finish is essentially matte but the Lycra catches direct sunlight to give a definite shine. Quite soft to the touch, and comfortable, these tights are a good choice for everyday wear, or a more casual evening out in the colder months.
