Levante say almost nothing about these tights on the packet, the picture combining footless tights with tailored shorts show that they are right on the money with the current fashion trends.
These are genuine lace tights, not a printed or applied pattern. The waistband is very similar to that used by Gerbe, a quite narrow band with a scalloped top edge. very nice indeed. We were slightly surprised given the quality of the waistband that these tights had neither flat seams, nor a gusset.
The ankle cuffs are quite pain and sized small. The plain finish works well with the lacy pattern and the small cuff ensures that they stay near your ankles and don’t ride up to “Capri” length. The seams up the inside of each leg is a little more noticeable than we would like but they don’t detract from the overall look too much.
With quite a short body (almost hipster) these tights are ideal to wear with shorts or short skirts with a low waist.
Our tip for the colder months is to combine these stylish lacy footless tights with some contrasting sheers. A suntan sheer would work well under any colour, a combination of black and red will catch the eye.
