Slip them out of the cardboard wrap and take them off their little hanger and you are presented with a very long, completely straight pair of tights that are around 30 denier and of even weight from hip to toe. The basic black is patterned with darker strips that are themselves threaded with silver Lurex. The waistband is silver Lurex.
Construction is very simple, raised seams and no gusset.
Sizing is pretty accurate, but if you are tall and slim you may find that the legs are a little short. The lack of Lycra in the yarn means there is very little stretch and the fit rather loose.
The look is actually very eye catching and effective, the Lurex catches the light and emphasises the pattern in a way that printed animal designs entirely fail to do. So if you like attention; pair these tights with your shortest black skirt and highest heels and turn a few heads.
