The packet suggests a boxer style brief, the picture to the right suggests sheer to waist and the truth is that these tights are neither.
The 40 denier legs are smooth and glossy, an absolute delight, and finished with reinforced toes. Around mid thigh things become a little strange. There is a deep transition band of the sort often seen on tights with a very tight control top, on that sort of tights it prevents pinching and bulging. Above the transition band is a long leg style brief of the same weight as legs but with a matt finish. The brief is finished with flat seams and an unlined gusset.
The tights are well made and accurately sized (although again Bulgarian sizing II to VI rather than 1-4 so take care), but the detailing has us confused.
