The packet notes are once again a masterpiece of marketing speak translated from German to English but somehow they do convey what Kunert is all about even if they tell you little about the tights.
What we have here are 30 denier semi-opaque matt finish tights that are made footless. Rather than a simple cuff at the ankle Kunert have added a 1920s inspired fringe. Now we weren’t around in the 1920s but we are pretty sure that the fringes were on the dresses not the stockings but if these tights had been around then the flapper girls would have loved them.
There are four sizes available and as far as we can tell, in the UK at least, just one colour... black.
Construction is as you would expert from Kunert, sheer to waist with just a narrow finger band to give strong transition to the waistband, flat seams and a lined gusset.
Fit and finish as you can see from Nora’s picture are excellent. Sizing is accurate with plenty of stretch in the leg and panty. There is almost no stretch in the fringed cuff though so if your ankles are less slender than average you may have problems getting these tights on and/or find them a little tight.
Well made, high quality, comfortable and fun party tights for the young and young at heart.
