Our Review
The Jonathan Aston “On Show” collection for Autumn/Winter 2011 takes its inspiration from Las Vegas. The Casino connection is clear to see here with the suits of cards covering the tights... the emphasis here is clearly on fun.
All of the range have the same basic construction, sheer to waist, flat seams and a lined gusset, unshaped legs and a sandal toe. Black on nude is the standard colour combination but at the time of writing one of our partners has black on black in stock (see our shop).
The look and feel is more like 12 denier than 20 denier which helps the design to stand out on the nude background. Sizing is quite generous in terms of length, even when you take into account the miscalculation of the largest size where Jonathan Aston have equated 182 cm to 5’10” rather than 6’0”.
We did notice that the motifs distorted a little around hip level, so you may way to avoid ultra-short shorts and skirts. The suggested maximum hip sizing will use every bit of stretch available so this distortion will be very noticeable, big girls take note.
Great design, great fun, good quality and comfortable. Buy these before your friends do!
