Our Review
Before we opened these tights we took a second look at the back of the packet to make sure we had put all the packet notes next our scan of the packet front; two things jumped out at us that we had not noticed before. Firstly the name of the style suggests 10 denier but the packet back says 16 denier, secondly the size chart mentions sizes from 0 (XS) to V (XL).
No surprises from the tights themselves. Smooth soft and sheer in the hand and detailed to a high standard. The toes are entirely sheer and beautifully finished with a quality seam. The legs are fully profiled and run sheer all the way to the top. We can’t quite call these sheer to waist tights as the “3 zone comfort top” detail is over 10 cm deep. There is a conventional waistband some 4.5 cm deep, then a 4 cm deep finger band a finally a 2 cm deep transition band some 2 cm deep. The transition band carries the “relax” motif and is contiguous with the reinforced strip either side of the flat panty seam and around the cotton lined gusset.
We have said tights fit like a second skin before but we may need to reconsider that description now we have tried these! All that Lycra in the yarn goes to provide fit rather than stretch, there is little or no give at all in the foot and ankle. The comfort top really works being both very comfortable and effective in holding the tights in place. Sizing is on the generous side of accurate.
The sheen on your leg is up there with the best of the oiled tights, perfect even colour so all you see is leg and sheen rather than hosiery.

As to the denier, the look and feel shouts 10 denier. If they achieved this using strong 16 denier fibre it is a work of genius.
