 Our Review
These tights, or maybe we should say “pantyhose” as they are made in Italy, tick all the right boxes. Beautifully light they are a delight in the hand, soft and delicate.
Construction is all that we could hope for, sheer to waist with very lightly reinforced toes, flat seams in the body and just a shallow finger band under the deep waistband.
Our test pair was in the largest size (4/XL) which has a comfort rear panel rather than the cotton gusset.
The shaped legs do not look overly long but the 17% Lycra in the fibre means plenty of stretch so even if you are bigger than the suggested sizing on the packet they should fit. The comfort rear panel does slightly spoil the fit in the brief area, but if you are wide in the hips you will appreciate the extra room it gives.
The look on the leg is great, almost invisible and with a nice sheen. The feel is smooth to the touch but if you cross your legs there is enough texture to give an attention grabbing “swish”.
Without doubt some of the nicest tights/pantyhose we have seen from the USA. We must not forget that although made in Italy Hosieree is an American company. It is to be hoped that American manufacturers match the style and quality of their hosiery in the future.
The good news is that although these tights looked and felt delicate they proved robust during a day of wear.
