Hold-ups stockings are an area that has not been covered by Tightsfashion up until now (February 2006) as they were rather lumped in with stockings in general. Our logic was that as we are concerned with checking out hosiery for fit, comfort, quality and durability. it did not make sense to test a garment that was not complete in itself. As anyone who has worn stockings with a suspender belt (garter belt) will tell you you the fit of the belts, the quality of the clips and the adjustment of the straps are as important, or more important than the stockings themselves.

Of course our logic was flawed when it came to hold-up stockings which are complete in themselves.

Our friends at UKtights.com suggested a couple of styles to try and we have found that they fit in very well with our methods and format.
