We are told by Gipsy in the UK that these are their best selling tights and incredibly popular with their customers.
As this is the era of Lycra, cotton gussets, flat seams and stylish packaging this is intriguing.
On the up side the packet is small enough to carry in a pocket or handbag, and the price is very reasonable.
The tights come out of the packet very crumpled, but when stretched out you can see that they are made with straight legs, a boxer style brief and reinforced toes.
Despite the lack of Lycra there is plenty of stretch to ensure a good fit on the leg, even up to 34”. The matt finish is not very inspiring but the look is more sheer than 20 denier rating lead us to expect.
The panty is very generous, in width and length, although fit is not that great without a gusset.
