These tights are from the Gerbe 2004 collection, but in common with other Gerbe styles they would not look out of place today. Available on the Gerbe site as a remaindered line until quite recently, at a huge discount on the original price.
Delightfully soft and light in the hand these sheer to waist tights ooze quality. The usual attractive and effective Gerbe waistband tops a pair of sheer to waist tights constructed with flat seams, a silk lined gusset and lightly reinforced toes.
What sets these tights apart from other high quality matt finish sheer tights is the crystal pattern in the shape of a snake on each instep. This design is also the reason for the high retail price.
The crystal design aside these are gorgeous tights. Lots of stretch to give a perfect fit, a velvet soft matt finish with perfect even colour. A total delight to wear and gorgeous to look at. A small gripe is that the lightly reinforced toe is clearly visible, a pity on that are obviously designed to wear with very open shoes.
