These 100 % nylon tights look very sheer on the card, and feel surprisingly light and soft in the hand. The sheer legs are fully shaped with reinforced heel and toe.
Construction is on the lines of the Gerbe Men Satin 20 Tights. The brief area is finished with flat seams. Two seams run parallel forming a comfort gusset at the rear and a “pouch” at the front.
The brief is quite heavy and extend to the top of the thighs. The waistband is deep at 4.5 cm, nicely styled with the Gerbe name, but without the scalloped top of the female styles.
We tested the XL size and even without any Lycra there was enough stretch to fit up to the sizes described in the size chart. (Our tester, at 95kg should really have had the L size, the XL was too big in the brief, proof at least that the size chart is accurate). The heel is correctly positioned and the high quality toe seam ensures comfort with shoes.
The softness in the hand disappears entirely once on the leg. The feel is of classic nylons, quite smooth with a definite “swish” if you cross your legs wearing them.
Classy and comfortable , well worth buying.
