When you open the packet these tights look so fine it is hard to believe they are 15 denier... they look more like they are printed onto the card. The sense of very fine light hosiery is amplified by how light and soft they feel in the hand.
Sheer to waist and with sandal toe we were a little surprised that they was no attempt at shaping at the heel. The seams in the body are flat and there is a silk lined gusset. As we have come to expect from Gerbe there is a classy waistband with their motif woven in, then a 2 cm deep transition band to the sheer material. The body section look very short, but once on the waistband is perfectly positioned.
If you match your skin tone these tights are almost entirely invisible, with just a hint of sparkle in direct sunlight. Fit is very good from hip to toe despite the lack of Lycra in the mix. These are beautifully soft tights that are a delight to wear.
Sizing is more generous than the size chart would suggest. Size 4 will comfortably fit a leg up to 34” long.
Once you have these tights on you won’t want to take them off..
