These are essentially sheer to waist tights with the pattern added into the knitting. The pattern runs from toe to waist, a great improvement on many tights with patterned legs that only have the pattern on the leg portion. Clearly made with great care the pattern meets perfectly over the body seam.
The fully shaped legs look to have plenty of length. We tested size 4, the largest.
Fit is excellent with enough length for atoned 34” leg. These are very comfortable tights to wear, they even manage to feel expensive on your legs. Smooth to the touch except where the pattern is.
The toes are not invisible so you would not wear these tights with open toe shoes.
Being from the 2003 season this style is no longer available in the shops. But since Gerbe is such a high end brand it is unlikely anyone will have seen them then so you won’t look dated. Buy them if you can find them on line.
