Fogal Una Seamless Tights

Our Review

We had long understood that the Fogal Una style had gone the same way as a number of other seamless styles and been discontinued. We were delighted to discover that our friends at Tights4you had two variations new in stock. 

Interestingly unlike other Fogal tights these are made in Italy rather than Switzerland.

As with other seamless tights the first impression is that they look very short and hardly like tights at all.  But then you stretch them a little and find they have great elasticity. The feel is quite soft, yet with a great impression of strength.Sheer to waist with the usual high quality Fogal waistband.

As you start to put them on you notice that they have a square gusset rather than being totally sheer between the legs like virtually all the other seamless tights we have seen.  This was a slight surprise, but once the tights are fully on it is not that noticeable.  The gusset certainly changes the fit of the tights, it perhaps improves fit at the top of the legs but prevents the material following all the curves of your bottom.

Fit and finish are excellent, with perfect even colour from the sandal toe to the waistband.  A soft matt finish, perhaps with just a hint more sheen than a Wolford fatal 15. Smooth and soft to the touch. We would estimate the denier of these tights at about 15. Plenty of length in the large size to fit up to a 32” leg perfectly.

Although described as hipsters we found that they sat perfectly on top of the hip when required, you won’t find these tights finishing half way down your bottom

Great tights, but the gusset tips the balance from sexiness to practicality just a little too much for our taste
