Our Review
There is a clear look of quality about these tights, both how they look and how they feel. You would never call them “light” at 100 denier, but they feel smooth and soft and look robust and well made.
The slightly shaped legs are attached to a long leg style brief, all 100 denier. The brief is finished with regular raised seams and a cotton lined gusset (sizes 3&4 only).
The 14% Lycra in the fibre ensures plenty of stretch to ensure that you can go beyond the upper end of the suggested sizing and at the same time ensures a good close fit. Inevitably with such thick tights some creasing at the back of the knees is inevitable when you bend your leg, but there is no bagging and sagging.
Comfort is very good with the waistband sitting perfectly with very little tendency to roll over. Smooth and soft to the touch.
The colour was not perfectly even with just some very slight banding. The finish is essentially matt, but the surface is so smooth that there is a slight sheen in certain lights.
Not perfect, but warm, comfortable and classy tights at £2.39 are a real rarity. Ideal for everyday wear in the winter.
