Our Review
If you did not see the price first you would think these were tights in the £5-7 price range, the first impression is of good quality slightly glossy silkiness. You just can’t wait to get them off the card.
Construction is almost “sheer to waist”, the panty design and deep finger band between the sheer legs and the waistband prevent the term applying fully. The seams in the brief and around the gusset are flat and very well made.
The sheer legs are straight and finished with a reinforced toe. The real unique feature is the underside of the feet which is quite think and almost feels padded, there is even shaping and extra padding to go under your arch. Remarkable on such inexpensive tights!
The detailing of the foot extends around the heel too, ideal if you have rough skin or you find that your shoes rub your tights. These are strong tights anyway.
The slight gloss finish on the leg is flattering and the panty detail and cotton gusset mean you could wear without underwear for a smooth silhouette.
Our one gripe was that, on our test pair at least, there is a clear line at the top of each leg where there is a colour change. Not visible except with the very shortest skirts/shorts but annoying considering how great the tights are otherwise.
