Our Review
The name of these tights translates to “Silk Reflections”, most German makers have a 15 denier gloss finish style with a similar name in their range, the Falke Seindenglatt 15 being our favourite.
First impressions are quite favourable although the feel is the hand is less luxurious than the Falke style. The detailing is not quite to the same standard either; the lightly reinforced toes are well finished and the leg is shaped a little at the heel. unlike the competitors these tights have a bikini brief rather than being sheer to waist and the seams in the panty are well finished but not flat.
There are 5 sizes the two largest being in effect XL and XXL, size 5 being designed for a combination of 185cm height and 95kg weight which is pretty big for a man never mind a woman. The biggest 2 sizes have the comfort gusset.
The sizing is accurate and the fit is very good indeed. The finish on the leg is smooth and the colour is perfectly even. Less glossy than the Falke but these are very flattering tights. The plain panty with its high leg styling is not particularly inspiring but it is comfortable and Elbeo seem to have avoided the usual problems associated with comfort gussets... that they are not comfortable.
All in all these are very nice tights that look good and feel good, they do actually feel more sheer than the Falke Seidenglatt and they are softer too once on your legs.
If you need the extra size offered by the comfort gussets in sizes 4&5 buy these rather than the Falke but otherwise spend a little extra on the better quality Falke offers.
