We looked at the 20 denier version of these tights a short while ago, the same comments on the packaging apply here so we won’t repeat them.

First impressions of the tights are very good, soft yet substantial and visually appealing with the shiny waistband.

As with most if not all seamless tights the legs are unshaped; the legs are finished with a toe of the same weight as the legs with a run stop feature to improve durability.  The toe detail will have, or at least should have, some influence on your choice of shoe. This is a detailed shared with the 20 denier version.

Every style of seamless tights has its own way of dealing with the closure in the area of the gusset, as seams are not allowed clever knitting is required.  In some designs this appears as a fine line, in this case there is a heavier area around 4cm by 5cm into which the sheer material is knitted... the same detail is used on Fogal Una Tights.

The waistband is a glossy elastic one, 3cm deep and attached to the sheer body with a perfect flat seam.

These are top quality tights that have lots of stretch and strength.  There is no problem stretching them beyond the recommended sizing, you can safely go to maximum height and weight together and a little taller too. Fit is very good and very comfortable. Unlike the sheer version the waistband is more likely to sit on your hips than your waist unless you have a very small bottom. As with the Fogal the gusset detail does mean the fit is less “intimate” than the totally sheer seamless, on the upside these are more practical for wear without underwear, which is the only way to get a perfect smooth silhouette.

Colour is perfectly even with a soft matt finish.  Our only issue with these tights is that although very well made and perfect for wear under clingy skirts and dresses would show up even flat seams in tights there is no clue when you look at the legs that they are anything special.  When you spend this much on tights it would be nice if people noticed.

If you need the perfect smooth lines and want the hipster fit then these are the tights for you.  If you just want a quality opaque without these special features there is better value elsewhere.
