Our Review

A big thank you to Angelika to sourcing this sample for us at her local Karstadt store in Germany.

You notice the shine on these tights as soon as you take them from the packet, it is right up there was Charnos Sheer Lustre and Falke Seidenglatt. The second thing we noticed was that almost contrary to what the look seems to suggest these are very soft tights.

The construction is high quality, good for branded hosiery never mind “own label”.  The sheer legs are shaped at the heel and finished with reinforced toes. The sheer material extend all the way up to the high leg panty design which is cut to give sheer material all the way to the hip. The brief is thicker at around 40 denier and finished with flat seams and an unlined gusset, there is a simple waistband.

The card is printed with instructions on how to put your new tights on.  A very good idea because everyone has a first time, and we know from our correspondence that a proportion of women don’t know how to put their tights on without damaging them.  Following the instructions these tights slip on ever so easily and give excellent fit and even colour.  

We can’t comment of the accuracy of sizing because there is no size chart on the packet, that said size IV 44-46 is the size our tester normally wears and on that basis they are spot on. If you don’t know your sizing in German/European system this could be a problem.  Of course in a Karstand store the expert staff would be on hand to help.

The look on the leg is very shiny as expected but the soft feel is the hand give way to a rougher feel once the fabric is stretched on your leg. 

The panty design means that there is no need to wear any other underwear with these tights, a real boon in warmer weather.

Not quite up to the standards of the other high shine tights listed above but very good and recommended.
