Desiree is a brand from Germany introduced to us by our “lady on the ground” Angelika.

This is what she has to say about them.  “Desiree is the own brand for hosiery and lingerie of Karstadt, one of Germany’s largest department-store-chains. The quality standard is not the highest, like with most house-brands, but it provides good quality for a reasonable price. The name is well chosen, already advertising for itself!”
