As you can see from the view through the packet above the diamond pattern is knitted into the sheer background, we estimate the background to be around 15 denier.
The patterning runs from the back of the plain toes, which are the same weight but a different knit to the legs, to the bottom on the plain boxer style brief. The brief is around 40 denier and finished with a well made seam. Surprisingly even in the large size there is no gusset to improve fit.
There are 4 sizes, small to extra large. Large is longer than extra large, the latter being sized for width rather than length. The sizing is accurate but not overly generous so be sure to buy the correct size, the 10% Lycra give a little extra stretch in the legs and provides a very good fit.
The design looks much better on your leg than on the card. It manages to look both sober and sensible for the office and much more fun than plain black for a night out. A neat trick for one design to carry off.
If you plan to wear these tights with short shorts or a short skirt the boxer brief may be a problem, our only other reservation was the price for tights made with raised seams, boxer brief and no gusset. On balance we can forgive Charnos the price because of the unique look.
