Clearly an attempt by Charnos to move up market. I bought the test pair in Kendals sale for £6, I am not sure I would have gone for Charnos at £12 even with the Jerry Hall endorsement.
The inner packet is sealed with a little sticker saying "Jerry" a nice touch and good attention to detail.
The tights feel soft and light in the hand. Sheer to waist with a shaped heel and a sandal toe.
The brief area is well detailed with a cotton gusset and flat seams.
The waistband is about 12mm deep and decorated with a "JH" motif. Classy looking so no need to worry if your tights show above your waistband in the boardroom.
The fine sheer matt fabric just flows up your legs as you put them on, but two words of warning. Firstly take great care to get the design straight on the back of the leg. Secondly these tights are not very long so will need gentle stretching on a longer leg. They are 10 denier so be patient!
Once on the look is very classy and the fit and feel sublime.
The designer waistband not only looks good it keeps the tights in place perfectly too.
At £6 without the herringbone backseam these tights would be a must for the summer.
