Our Review
First impressions on opening a pair of these is of soft silky smoothness. Removing the tights from the card reveals them to have a fully shaped leg and heel, flat seams, and a cotton gusset.
Although sheer to waist there is quite a deep waistband (2cm) with a reinforced finger band below about 3cm deep. As you stretch the legs to put them on there is a definite shimmer from the yarn, fit is very good, and there is plenty of stretch in length so the large size will easily fit 34" leg.
The deep waistband and finger band make for a very comfortable fit and provide good durability too. The finish on the leg is a satin matt with perfect even colour.
Altogether a very nice quality tight for any occasion.
Since we first looked at these tights several years ago the price has crept up to £10.99, but they are still good value for money. The passage of time has not made these classic semi-opaque tights any less appealing, in fact they are right on the money for this season’s fashion.
