Our Review

It would be a brave man that bought “size plus” tights for his lady, but not everyone is built like a teenage model and there are few things worse than badly fitting tights. 

We have to applaud Cette for addressing the issue larger size, but we were a little disappointed that the sizing was a little ambiguous on the packet. The chart suggests they are designed to go up to weights of 230lbs (105kg) and a height up to 5’7”.  The table printed under works purely on hips and waist sizes with no note of height at all.

Our test pair were the smallest size, size 6.  European size 52-54. 

The detailing is a little disappointing. Straight legs with reinforced toes attached to a long leg style brief of heavier weight and a different knit to provide strength and stretch.  There is a conventional gusset and reasonable quality raised seams.  At just under £6.00 a pair we would have expected better detailing.

Having said all that these are very comfortable tights that fit well and have a nice matt finish to your legs.  There is plenty of stretch to ensure they will fit you whether you are wide or tall or both.  

So if you need larger tights these may be the answer for you.  They may not be the most sexy tights, but they will fit and look nice on your legs.
