Our Review
We recently reviewed the 40 denier version of these tights, our comments on those a regards the packaging and sizing hold true for this style too. This time our test pair came in size 5.
The first thing you notice when you open the packet is the way that these tights catch the light giving subtle little sparkles. The good impressions continue with how they feel, light, smooth and soft.
Construction is sheer to waist with some shaping in the legs which are finished with very neatly seamed reinforced toes. The panty has flat seams and in the case of our size 5 sample a large rear panel/comfort gusset. The comfort gusset is of the same weight and knit as the narrow reinforced band either side of the front seam and the 2cm deep finger band. The waistband is just a little deeper than the finger band.
Fit is near perfect and the look on the leg is great, just enough shine to get attention without being too much. For both look and quality these tights are right up there with our favourites such as Falke Seidenglatt or Kunert Satin Look.
The panty in the size 5 is very generous and there is enough stretch and strength to go beyond the recommended sizes. If you don’t like comfort gussets you could go down one size to get a cotton gusset if you prefer.
