Our Review
The sheen on these tights is apparent as soon as you take them from the packet, they have an almost metallic iridescence. So taken were we with the sheen that we almost failed to notice how smooth, soft and light these tights are.
The construction is sheer to waist, aside from a very slight change of weight over the toe and a run stop to prevent holes in the toes running into the leg they are one weight throughout. The legs are shaped and the heels are shaped. The panty is finished with flat seams, and in our size 5 test pair there was a comfort gusset/rear panel. The sheer legs and panty are fixed to the 3cm deep waistband by a narrow finger band.
The legs looked quite short compared to the body but the stretch provided a perfect fit, exactly in accordance with the size chart. The fit on the legs is very close with no bagging or sagging, and just a hint of compression to keep your legs fresh during a busy day.
The sheen seen when we took the tights from the packet is more muted once they are stretched on your legs, far more subtle.
Semi-opaque tights are great everyday hosiery, these are suitable for almost any time of day or time of the year. Smart enough for work, sexy enough for a night out and well made and strong enough to last.
