Top marks first of all to Boots for a sensible size chart based on height and dress sizes although having 3 sizes of S/M, M/L and XL is perhaps not quite as clear as a straight Small/Medium/Large system.

The tights come in a pack of two for £5.50 so price wise they are at the upper end of supermarket hosiery and the bottom end of branded.  Boots buy their hosiery from a variety of sources but we are pleased to see that our sample of this style was made in the UK.

The tights are supplied wrapped around a card in a cardboard packet with no protective bag, risky with such sheer hosiery; our test pairs arrived safely.

As you would expect of 7 denier tights the legs are light and soft to the touch, the panty is altogether stronger and more opaque.

Detailing is quite straight forward, the legs are just very slightly shaped at the heel and finished with a simple seam to give a genuine sandal toe.  At the top of the legs there is a lace transition to the high leg bikini panty.  The panty itself is plain and has a cotton lined gusset.

Our test sample in XL size looked huge and we were quite concerned it may be way too big given the light denier and high Lycra content but we need not have worried. As soon as the material hits skin it seems to just disappear fitting more like paint than clothing.   Certainly the sizing is a little on the generous side of accurate but only just.

The plain panty won’t win any awards for looks but it fits well and hold the legs in place.  The legs are among the very best ultra sheer bare legs style we have seen, if they prove to be durable they will be a must have.

If there is a cheaper way to cheat and get that healthy tanned glow to your skin we have yet to see it, perfect even colour with with a slight slight sheen at £2.75 a pair, bargain!
